Lollie Answers: Is Lotion Safe For Hand-jobs?

By: Lollie Pure Pleasure

Lotions

Suzie Asks:

If I use scented lotion from, say Bath and Body Works, to give a hand job, would that be harmful in any way?

Dear Suzie:

Aside from unique allergic reactions, I can only think of a few ways that scented lotions may be potentially harmful. If you are planning on having sex using a latex barrier post-lotion hand-job, be sure to read the ingredients on the label. If it has any kind of oil in it, then it is not condom-safe and must be washed off before sex as oils tend to wear down latex in under one minute. Similarly, if you are planning on having vaginal sex after using the lotion, be sure to check for glycerin or sugar in the ingredients as they can cause yeast infections in some women.

There are so many lubricants available, for whatever your preference or need. Check out the Pure Pleasure selection of lubricants. I am sure you will find one that works for you.

Hope this helps! Enjoy!
